It looks like an object is selected, so the "cross" icon (to deselect the selected objects) replaces the "burger" menu.
Please click on this "cross" button and then you should be able to switch off the "Edit" mode.

I see the light impact but not the beam.
This is because the 3D is in mode "Edit". Put the switch "Edit mode" off and you will see the beam.

Hello,

Thank you for these details.

We're talking to Microsoft to find out if they've recently added a new security feature in addition to the digital signature.
Every time we send them a message, they take between 3 and 5 working days to reply :-(
So it may take a while.
