In addition to the 16 scenes now distributed across up to 8 zones instead of 4, the interface can also manage 4 master faders, 4 color wheels, 4 speed sliders, and 2 follow spots.
It is now possible to customize the logo on the home page and the background images on the standalone pages separately.
The firmware also introduces two new options:
- run last played scenes at boot: keeps running the same scenes after a power failure
- low resolution mode: if scenes are too complex with too many 16-bit DMX channels, this option allows them to run in 8-bit DMX mode to reduce processor load
You can upgrade the firmware of your D1024W interface using this PC program: https://download.thelightingcontroller. ... update.zip
This tool also allows you to revert from the new firmware back to to the original version if needed.
The firmware version makes no difference when using the interface in PC mode with our software.
Our "standalone" app TheLightingController_D1024W supports both firmware versions.
