3D: This tool is Not user friendly at all... or perhaps it is to a regular CAD user. To me it seems quite convoluted and "touchy" as well. On my 1st attempt it put an arial truss through the floor and selecting the whole thing to pull it up while getting the room to stop spinning was quite the task. The room "dressing" however went rather well. I've yet to get it to do what it seems it is supposed to do and what I've seen in your videos.

Perhaps something simpler such as just a 3D rendering of the 2D layout (which I had no trouble with at all) with specifications for Floor, Truss Mid, Truss High, or "Manual Placement" mounted fixtures and/or groups might suffice.

Thank you,
Mivan

Yes, CAD is not easy.
We will publish more videos showing how to proceed.

Simplified

X = left to Right placement. + is to the right and - is to the left
Y = Up or Down placement. + is Up and - is down.
Z = Front to back. + is toward and - is away from (from view perspective)

I have an issue as the Z and Y should be flipped.
X and Y are the horizontal plane and Z is the vertical plane.

Noted.
We will need other feedback for this, because in our opinion, the current position is ok. May be we are wrong ; we'll see ...
