D1024W-Connection doesn’t work with new ipad [fixed]

Hi everyone,
We just bought the Sweet D1024W for our theater so we could direct our shows directly from a tablet. We have a new iPad Air 11 working with the last iOS but every time we want to make the connection on the wifi from the device itself (wifi D1024W), we go trough all the process :
Opening the app
Preferences
Hardware
Autodetect mode and enter
Close the app
Open the app again and it says everytime « 0 interface available »
It works on our Samsung phone but the project would be to use it on a tablet, as a phone is to tiny.
What could we do ? Is it normal that it does not work on a brand new tablet ?
Thanks a lot

Hello,
So your iPad is well connected to the wifi network of the interface (SSID = D1024W ; password = 00000000).
We have these two first questions :
1. Does the "Autodetect interface" action return the IP of the interface (192.168.4.1) in the entry box at the right of the text "Interface IP" (manual page 9) ?
2. If yes, do you see a green dot at the left of the interface when you close the window (manual page 10) ?
The manual of this interface is here:
https://download.thelightingcontroller. ... manual.pdf

Oups, the two above questions are for the "D1024W" app and not for the "software" app.
Sorry for that.
The good question is: does the "Autodetect interface" action return the IP of the interface (192.168.4.1) in the entry box at the right of the text "Interface IP #1" ?
If not you can also try to manually type the IP "192.168.4.1" in the entry box.

Hallo,
I have the same problem, on an new Ipad A16 I got no connection between the D1024W and the App Thelightingcontroller II. In the "D1024W"App it works but in the app "Thelightingcontroller" it allways no interface found. We tried it with an Android tablet – there it works.

Hello,
Unfortunately, we got no feedback from "ImpromptuTheatre".
So if we right understood the situation is:
- app "D1024W" on iOS: OK
- app "D1024W" on Android: OK
- app "TheLightingController II" on iOS: NOT OK
- app "TheLightingController II" on Android: OK
This is odd because the two iOS apps use the same source code and technology for that.
Please note these two things:
- the Wi-Fi chip of the interface D1024W is disabled when it is controlled by our software via USB
- in "Wi-Fi Station mode", the interface D1024W allows only one connected app
- in "Wi-Fi Access point mode", the interface D1024W allows only one connected device
Could you please confirm that the situation was like this during your tests ?

We found a possible problem.
We submit to Apple a new version which fixes the problem now.
It will take some time for Apple for the validation process and then to publish it.
We will keep you informed.

The Apple status of our "new version" app is now "Waiting for Review".
Apple says it can take 48 hours, our experience says most of the time it takes less than 24h.
We keep you tuned.

The new version of our "TheLightingController" app is now available in "App Store".
Please update your app, try connecting to the interface again, and let us know the result

We did our best to fix your problem as quick as possible.
It however took us 24 hours.
And then we had to wait 24 more hours that Apple release the new version of our app in App Store (they do a bunch of security checks).
It is difficult to make faster.
It would have been nice if you could have waited for those 48 hours.
