How do I create a stage in 3d View, as is seen in the tutorials on YouTube.

There are two importants things to know.

1. use this switch in the drawer menu to enter in the "Edit" mode.

2. in the "Edit" mode, you can add 3D objects with this big blue "+" button (lower bottom screen).
