Because we now can trigger board-pages with midi, it would be great to have an option to map your midi-controller per page. So when switching boards, the midi controller(s) also switch to the mapped midi thats on that specific page. As a result I don't have to bring like 2 APC20 wings anymore
Sorry but this is not possible.
FYI, coding is only a part of the job. The rest, which oftenly takes more time, is the GUI and later the manuals / tutos.
We have one question.
If we do so, we will be able to trigger exclusively the buttons from the selected page. No way to trigger those from the non selected pages.
Will this be acceptable ?
My apologies, I haven't been active on this forum for a long time. I am still using the previous version of Sweetlight and would like to switch to the new version. However, I am now also using BOME MIDI Translator to enable multiple pages on my APC 40/20 in combination with Sweetlight.
The reason I use that MIDI translator is because I want to control multiple sliders. There are 9 sliders on an APC 40/20, which I use for playbacks. This is far too few for a larger show. That is why I have BOME display different values to Sweetlight per page for the APC. This way, I now have 8 pages with 9 sliders each.
I actually mean this kind of implementation for the new version of Sweetlight. Although I understand that there are quite a few technical challenges involved.
Maybe a solution would be to have a checkbox that makes an page global or local. So you can have global pages with your controls (shutters, colors, etc.) And have a local pages where you can add playbacks. MIDI will go to the local page + global pages.
