How to get 3D view

In the help videos I see this 3d view in a separate window that shows the lights and gives a representation of how they look in a show. I cannot find out to get this view in the software. The "manual" is very minimal help.

Also is there a stock background image that has a lighting truss and stage. There is an option to add a background image and I see them on the tutorial videos, but I do not have such an image.
