Saving files - sub-folders

There are a couple of things here: first, I cannot move around in folders in the "Open Generator project" dialog box, like creating folders, going up, etc. see screenshot. Same thing in the "Save Generator project" dialog; that does not feel to be right.
Second, it should save the file in the corresponding Lightshow, but it appears that once a project saved in a lightshow, it will remain there, even though you open another lightshow and save it again. This behavior might be right so, but I can't change folders, so once changed and saved to my likening for a particular show, I cannot open it again later, since I cannot change folders.

The scenes programming is "fixture based", so it is not possible to use a scene file from a lightshow in another one ; the fixtures IDs will not match.
It is same with the version V9 of our software.
Yes, the requester window does not give any possibility to save outside of the folder made for that. The good point is this will avoid the problems we had with V9 with people saving scenes in other location like the desktop folder for instance.
Actually, the scenes need to be stored in "flat mode". There is no possibility to create sub_folders. There are effectively pro / cons with this method, like with the "tree structured" method.

That is worrying me a bit, in v9 I have hundreds of scenes, grouped per type of fixture, for colors, effects, strobing, movements, etc. etc. that I organized neatly into subdirectories with a file naming convention. I use these files in the timeline, running one layer over the other, not having to create one scene for each situation (in this way I can quickly build new shows for new songs). If I now have to store these files into one super directory, I am going to quickly lose overview.
Also, I have build different light shows from exactly the same light setup, so all fixtures are the same and I can freely copy them over.

We understand your point of view and we take note of it.
For now, please try with clear and long scene names.
Please note also that the software VII is supposed to generate automatically the scenes with "gobos, patterns, macros, ...", and the VII "color board" avoids to create color scenes.
