Hi,
We were having so many issues with V9 on MacOS, I moved to the Windows version and it's been stable for the past few years. Just accidentally found out there was a new V11 of the software and would like to move lighting back to the MacOS world, is there a path/way to migrate everything over without recreating fixtures, boards, scenes etc. from scratch?
I was able to import an exported V9 Lighting Show, which usually works for a fresh install of V9, but this did nothing in V11...
Thanks!
ShowXpress v9 to V_II migration
Re: ShowXpress v9 to V11 migration
Hi,
Unfortunately, no. It is not possible to migrate a V9 project directly to V_II. The reasons are explained here: viewtopic.php?t=20
Regarding the issues you experienced with V9 on macOS, could you let us know what problems you encountered ? We'd be interested in understanding them so we can investigate further.
Also, please make sure you are using the correct V9 version for your Mac. V9 is available in two separate macOS builds:
* one for **Intel-based Macs**,
* one for **Apple Silicon (M1, M2, M3, etc.)**.

Using the version that matches your Mac's processor is important for proper operation.
