Palettes / presets

Post by Dumbfungus »

Is there a function similar to palettes? I want to have pre-defined positions for my moving fixtures. I would like to be able to set different pan positions, and tilt positions. Then be able to mix and match.

Thanks

Regarding the word "palette".

It is ok whether this palette is a pan/tilt position that can be saved from one scene and loaded in another one. And afterwards, if you want to change this pan/tilt position, you will have to change it in all scenes.
Or does this palette have to be an ID linked to a pan/tilt position. Afterwards, you can change the pan/tilt position and all scenes using this ID will automatically have the pan/tilt position updated with the new one ?

To know:
first case should be quite easy to achieve, while the second one is another story.

I really like the way it works in the previous v9 software. I can save specific RGB combinations , xy coordinates , etc.

I’d like to be able to define settings and use them in scenes. So if I update the setting then all instances of that will update automatically.
