request - Make shift slider midi-mapable

Post by rentashow »

I was wondering if it was possible, for generated pan&tilt buttons, to be able to midi map the shift slider as well. Manually adjusting this tiny slider takes to much time at a show.

Thank you!

We do not see how we could do that.
Could you please tell us how you see that procedure ?

My first thought was adding a "triggers" button to the "button settings" > "Channel" section. Maybe behind the "shift slider" checkbox?

So every shift slider can be mapped to whatever anyone wants. Some may map every shift slider to one single midi control, others will maybe use multiple.

Noted, but we are not certain this would speed up the procedure.

Please note that the midi fader switches on the button too, so linking more than one button with "shift" slider to the same midi fader will not work.

The midi-mapping of the shift slider, in my opinion, must not switch on (or off) the button. It just has to adjust the shift slider position.
