Beams not working in 3D

Thanks so much for the quick reply! I don't see an edit mode switch in 3D View.

It looks like an object is selected, so the "cross" icon (to deselect the selected objects) replaces the "burger" menu.
Please click on this "cross" button and then you should be able to switch off the "Edit" mode.







BTW, we do not understand why we do not see any selected object in your view.
If you can post a link to download your lightshow (viewtopic.php?t=47), we will check that.
